The Canadian Beer Day 2026 Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered by Beer Canada (the “Sponsor”). By entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Giveaway Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor regarding the administration of the Giveaway, subject to applicable law. 1. GIVEAWAY PERIOD The Giveaway begins on September 7, 2026, at the time the official Canadian Beer Day Giveaway post is published on the Beer Canada Instagram account, @beercanadacheers, and closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 7, 2026 (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries received outside the Giveaway Period are not eligible. A random draw from all eligible entries will take place on October 8, 2026. The selected entrant will have 24 hours from the Sponsor's initial notification to respond, verify eligibility, correctly answer the required mathematical skill-testing question and satisfy all other requirements of these Official Giveaway Rules. Subject to successful confirmation of the selected entrant, the winner is expected to be announced on October 9, 2026. 2. ELIGIBILITY The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the legal drinking age in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of Beer Canada, Brand & Mortar and the host brewery, as well as members of their immediate households, are not eligible to enter. The Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of age, identity and Canadian residency before declaring an entrant a confirmed winner. Void where prohibited by law. 3. HOW TO ENTER Entries are accepted only through the official September 7, 2026 Canadian Beer Day Giveaway post published by @beercanadacheers on Instagram. To enter: 1. Follow @beercanadacheers on Instagram; 2. Like the official September 7 Canadian Beer Day Giveaway post; and 3. Tag a friend you'd share a beer with on Canadian Beer Day in the comments of the official Giveaway post. Each eligible comment tagging one different friend constitutes one (1) entry, up to a maximum of ten (10) entries per person during the Giveaway Period. Each tagged account must belong to a real individual who is of legal drinking age in their province or territory of residence. Duplicate tags of the same individual, entries exceeding the ten-entry maximum, automated entries, fake accounts, bot-generated entries, fraudulent entries or other attempts to manipulate the Giveaway may be disqualified at the Sponsor's discretion, subject to applicable law. Comments made on reminder, countdown or other Beer Canada posts do not constitute entries. All entries must be made on the original September 7 Giveaway post. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. 4. GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE There is one (1) grand prize package available to be won with an Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of $2,000 CAD. The grand prize package consists of: • Canadian Beer Day VIP Brewery Experience for the winner plus one (1) guest, including a brewery tour, brewing session and tasting experience; • Canadian Beer Day Mini Fridge; • Canadian Beer Day Coast-to-Coast Sampler Pack, featuring products from participating Beer Canada members; and • Canadian Beer Day Swag Bundle, consisting of: o Canadian Beer Day black T-shirt o Canadian Beer Day grey hoodie o Tote bags – French and English o Canadian Beer Day ball cap o Knitted beanie with logo o Scarf o Men's socks – English o 4 oz branded glassware o Mini Canadian Beer Day cooler bag o Large Canadian Beer Day cooler bag o Stickers o Pins o Bottle opener o Coasters o Book The winner and their guest participating in the Canadian Beer Day VIP Brewery Experience must each be of legal drinking age in the province or territory where the experience takes place. Beer Canada will be responsible for the management, packaging, shipping and delivery of the full grand prize package, subject to applicable laws, availability and the provisions of these Official Giveaway Rules. 5. CANADIAN BEER DAY VIP BREWERY EXPERIENCE The Canadian Beer Day VIP Brewery Experience is for the winner plus one (1) guest and is subject to host brewery availability, scheduling, location, applicable laws and any reasonable participation or safety requirements established by the host brewery. Both the winner and guest must be of legal drinking age in the province or territory where the experience takes place. Unless expressly stated otherwise by Beer Canada in writing, transportation, airfare, accommodation, meals, ground transportation and other travel or personal expenses are not included. If the Canadian Beer Day VIP Brewery Experience cannot reasonably be provided as described, Beer Canada reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to substitute that component with another prize or experience of equal or greater approximate retail value. 6. ALCOHOL COMPONENTS & FULFILMENT The grand prize package contains alcoholic beverages and includes an alcohol-related experience. The confirmed winner, and the winner's guest where applicable, must satisfy all applicable legal drinking-age requirements. Beer Canada will be responsible for the management, packaging, shipping and delivery of the grand prize package, including the Canadian Beer Day Coast-to-Coast Sampler Pack, in accordance with applicable federal, provincial and territorial requirements. Where any component cannot lawfully or reasonably be provided as described, Beer Canada reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to substitute the affected component with an item or experience of equal or greater approximate retail value. Beer Canada encourages the responsible consumption of alcohol. The winner and guest are responsible for arranging safe transportation in connection with the Canadian Beer Day VIP Brewery Experience. 7. WINNER SELECTION On October 8, 2026, or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable, one (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be contacted by direct message only from the official Beer Canada Instagram account, @beercanadacheers. The selected entrant must respond within 24 hours of the Sponsor's initial notification. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, does not respond within 24 hours, does not satisfy the eligibility requirements, fails to comply with these Official Giveaway Rules, fails to provide required verification, incorrectly answers the required skill-testing question or declines the grand prize package, the entrant may be disqualified and another potential winner may be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries. Subject to successful confirmation, the winner is expected to be publicly announced on October 9, 2026. 8. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION Before being declared the confirmed winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor. A selected entrant is not the confirmed winner until all winner-confirmation requirements have been satisfied. 9. PRIZE CONDITIONS AND SUBSTITUTION The grand prize package must be accepted as awarded except as otherwise provided in these Official Giveaway Rules or required by applicable law. The grand prize package is not transferable or redeemable for cash unless expressly authorized by the Sponsor. Beer Canada reserves the right, where reasonably necessary because of availability, legal restrictions, circumstances beyond its reasonable control or other operational considerations, to substitute any component with an item or experience of equal or greater approximate retail value, subject to applicable law. Images used in promotional materials are illustrative. Actual models, colours, sizes, products, packaging or other details may differ. 10. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Beer Canada and its directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents and affiliates, Brand & Mortar, the host brewery, and applicable prize suppliers and their respective representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from or relating to participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the grand prize package, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Without limiting the foregoing, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Released Parties are not responsible for: • Lost, late, incomplete, invalid, misdirected or inaccessible entries; • Technical failures involving Instagram, Meta, internet connections, mobile devices, telecommunications networks or other third-party services; • Deleted, hidden, blocked or incorrectly displayed comments or entries; • Instagram outages, algorithmic changes, account restrictions or other platform-related issues outside Beer Canada's reasonable control; • Unauthorized or fraudulent accounts impersonating Beer Canada; • Incorrect information supplied by an entrant; • Failure of an entrant to receive a direct message because of privacy settings, spam filtering, account restrictions or circumstances outside the Sponsor's reasonable control; • Delays, cancellations or changes involving the host brewery or prize components outside the Sponsor's reasonable control; • Delivery delays or other third-party fulfilment issues outside the Sponsor's reasonable control; • The winner's inability to participate in the Canadian Beer Day VIP Brewery Experience because of scheduling, travel requirements or failure to satisfy participation requirements; or • Other circumstances outside the Sponsor's reasonable control. Nothing in these Official Giveaway Rules excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law. 11. CONDUCT AND DISQUALIFICATION Beer Canada reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to disqualify an entrant who attempts to manipulate, disrupt, abuse or circumvent the Giveaway or its entry process, including through automated entries, fake accounts, bots, scripts, fraudulent comments or other unfair methods. Entries containing unlawful, hateful, threatening, defamatory, obscene or otherwise inappropriate material may also be removed and disqualified. 12. INSTAGRAM / META This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta. By entering, entrants acknowledge that Instagram and Meta have no responsibility for administration of the Giveaway and release Instagram and Meta from claims arising from or relating to the Giveaway to the extent permitted by applicable law. Entrants are providing their information to Beer Canada and not to Instagram or Meta. 13. FRAUD AND IMPERSONATION WARNING Beer Canada will contact a potential winner only through the official @beercanadacheers Instagram account. Beer Canada will never request payment, credit card information or banking information to claim the grand prize package. Entrants should disregard and report any account claiming to represent Beer Canada that requests payment or financial information in connection with the Giveaway. 14. PRIVACY Personal information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be used by Beer Canada and its authorized service providers to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, contact and confirm the winner, manage the packaging, shipping and delivery of the grand prize package, and otherwise administer the Giveaway in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal information will not be used for unrelated marketing purposes without the consent required by applicable law. 15. WINNER PUBLICITY AND POST-GIVEAWAY CONTENT Beer Canada may invite the confirmed winner to participate in photography, video, interviews, social media content, an On Tap feature, press release or other coverage relating to their Canadian Beer Day VIP Brewery Experience. Participation in post-Giveaway promotional content will be subject to the winner's permission and any required release or consent. Declining to participate in optional post-Giveaway promotional content will not affect the winner's entitlement to the grand prize package unless otherwise permitted by applicable law and expressly disclosed before entry. 16. CHANGES, SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION If circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control materially affect the integrity, security, administration or operation of the Giveaway, Beer Canada reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, suspend or terminate the Giveaway or take other reasonable measures necessary to administer it fairly. If the Giveaway is terminated after entries have been received, Beer Canada may, where lawful and practicable, select a potential winner from eligible entries received before termination. 17. GOVERNING LAW The Giveaway is subject to applicable federal, provincial and territorial laws of Canada. If any provision of these Official Giveaway Rules is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. 18. SPONSOR Beer Canada Beer Canada is the Sponsor of the Canadian Beer Day 2026 Giveaway and is responsible for the administration, management, packaging, shipping and delivery of the grand prize package, subject to these Official Giveaway Rules and applicable law.
